Visitors with Learning Needs and Developmental Differences / Disabilities

The attraction can be very busy during the school holidays, but the capacity of the platforms is controlled by the Visitor Experience Hosts to ensure they do not become overcrowded. We recommend visiting at the start or end of the day in order to enjoy the quietest periods. On the viewing platforms, Visitor Experience Hosts are always on hand to show visitors to a quiet area if needed. We play low background music on both viewing platforms. The soundscape featured as visitors descend the 455 stairs to the ground plays recorded clips from various London locations at regular intervals along the external staircase.

The attraction regularly hosts groups of school children and seniors. You can contact us in advance of your visit if you want to ensure that the platforms are not going to be too crowded when you visit and we will endeavour to do what we can to assist your during your visit.
