SCHOOL GROUPS

The ArcelorMittal Orbit is the perfect destination for school groups of any age. Let your students enjoy breath-taking views from the 80m high viewing platforms or let them challenge their classmates to a 40 second descent down the world`s tallest, longest and fastest tunnel slide.

Pupils can get up close to London’s landmarks with innovative and interactive touchscreens that allow them to zoom into the view and learn more about the city, and immerse themselves in a collection of distinctive London sounds playing through the speakers on the journey down the 455 steps winding way around the sculpture.

Depending on their age, needs and abilities, we offer you the flexibility to create the best day out for your group within the amazing grounds of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

EDUCATIONAL CONTENT

We offer teachers a range of free educational resources, specifically designed to allow students to learn outside the classroom. Our aim is to deliver an experience which is both educational and entertaining. These resources, downloadable from our website (see below), cover key stages 1- 4 in a range of subjects, including science, geography, and art and design.

Additional free educational resources and tour trails are available from Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park website. The Park is often referred to as London`s newest outdoor classroom, and there are plenty of opportunities to customise your day based on your educational needs and academic curriculum.
